 FAQs

  • It’s easy to understand why this question causes confusion. Both an Online Business Manager (OBM) and Virtual Assistant (VA) can provide administrative support to your business. A key difference is that one works for you while the other works alongside you.

A VA provides remote administrative support. Offloading tasks to a VA is a great way for business owners to free up their time. These could include bookkeeping, data entry, inbox management and other skills the business doesn’t already have.

An OBM works alongside your business and provides a more strategic level of support (including overseeing day-to-day operations). Business owners hire OBMs to create strategies that align with their goals and help the business to grow. An OBM can help identify inefficiencies, manage aspects of the business and team, implement new systems, and streamline processes. They can also provide a central point of contact for your employees.

Final note: While a VA is reactive to your requests, an OBM is also proactive (identifying things that can be done to improve your business and make it more profitable).

  • Discovery calls are such an important part of meeting each other. They help me to understand what support you need within your business and make sure our values are aligned. They also give you the opportunity to ask any questions you need.

From here, I can suggest the best level of support for your business. I’ll send you a proposal and once you accept the invoice and contract will follow. We’ll then book your handover call so we can start creating space for you to breathe!

  • No. Unused hours do not roll over to the next month.

  • When public holidays fall on a working day (Monday-Friday) an additional day will be added to your monthly retainer.

  • Unfortunately, we all manage to get under the weather sometimes. It’s important for us to make sure we take the time to heal and get back to full health asap. During this time, we will be offline resting and recovering.

When the sick day falls on a working day (Monday-Friday) the additional day will be added to your monthly retainer.

  • Retainers are a great way to secure me and my team within your business. They also ensure that we’re never overbooked and that we can deliver the great level of support and strategy your business needs.

  • Payment is made up front for the month. For example, if you purchase a 10-hour package, this must be paid in full before we commence our work. If you are on a 3-month or 6-month retainer, you will be invoiced monthly. Work will be paused until payment is made.

This can be paid using Stripe or direct transfer into our business bank account.

  • Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Any business communication out of those hours will be responded to the next business day.

We do not work public holidays and use this time to recharge.

  • Voxer is our preferred tool for daily communication. It’s a fantastic free messaging app that can be used for voice, text, photo, and video messages.

All messages are responded to within a 3-hr timeframe unless out of business hours. These are responded to the next business day.

This also makes sure that client inboxes are not getting cluttered with any questions that can be answered quickly through a voice memo.

ClickUp is the project management tool we use to manage the operations and tasks of your business. You will be provided with your own dashboard so you can see what’s happening, time track and insert additional tasks.

  • We are always learning, training, and developing the tech tools that our clients need support with.

These include ClickUp, Dubsado, Paperbell, Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, Canva, Libsyn, Kajabi, Loom, WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, and Acuity Scheduling.

  • Yes. This is such an important question. We have Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Cyber Security.
